National Sound Awards Event Headed to Birmingham This February

The Sound Awards is marking the first time the national, multi-state music awards experience is coming to Birmingham. Founded and produced by The Mims Group, the event honors artists, choirs, musicians, and creatives while promoting unity, cultural excellence, and mental wellness through the arts.

The Birmingham edition will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at The Guiding Light Church, located at 1800 John Rogers Drive in Birmingham, Alabama. The event will also be available virtually, expanding access beyond those attending in person. Tickets are available online.
