Why Tweet #JESUSis? Will this really make a difference?

Spiritually this is the best thing we can do! The Bible says, “If I be lifted up I’ll draw ALL MEN unto me!” (John 12:32) Laws and legislation can’t touch revelation and inspiration, a GOD move and a heart change! Today, we’re saying as a city, JESUS takeover! At the mention of his name demons must flee, souls are saved; the sick are healed, and this city will be totally transformed! The Bible says, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will HEAL their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14) We’re coming together calling out to him for help!

One tweet may not completely change a life, but it will plant a seed! It was the Apostle Paul who said, it is up to one to plant, another to water, and God will grant the increase. (1 Corinthians 3:6-7) But the more I think about it, to answer my haters and critics, one tweet can make a difference!
There was a centurion guard who said, “My servant at home is sick and told Jesus I’m not worthy for you to come to my house, but if you send the WORD my servant will be healed!” By the time the centurion returned home, the servant was healed! (Luke 7:1-10) Today, we are sending the WORD to every person in the city! One tweet will get a brother off drugs! One tweet will help someone to get their life together! One tweet will help them to make it through the day! I don’t care if you hate on me, don’t like me, or disrespect me, but one thing you have to do and that is respect the name Jesus!!!

In closing, this isn’t a publicity stunt, but I am stunting publicly by repping Jesus! Literally hundreds of thousands of people are tweeting the name Jesus, and the greatest thing is this, take that and multiply it by 10, that’s the number of people reading the name of Jesus. No matter what church, denomination, ethnicity, or where you find yourself in life we all need Jesus!

Again, I’m not tweeting my name, I’m not tweeting “THE ROCK” Church, I’m tweeting Jesus! I am being the lifter! It was Dr. Howard Thurman who said, “Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” This makes me come alive, so your attempts to kill me won’t work. Devil, I know you’re reading this, but you aren’t trending, once again, you lose! So in the words of my daddy, “I’m Mike McClure, Jr. and I approve this message!”
