Gospel Sounds Music Awards Voting Open Through June 1
The Gospel Sounds Music Awards (GSMA) is launching as “Birmingham’s premier gospel celebration.” Dr. Robert Barnes founded the event to spotlight national and independent gospel talent. Voting is now open and continues through June 1, 2025, at gospelsoundsmusicawards.org. Fans can support their favorite artists across various categories, making their voices heard in shaping this year’s honorees.
The 2025 awards ceremony will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Greater Grace Baptist Church in Center Point, Alabama. Hosted by Sir Everett Drake and co-hosted by Yielded, the event will feature a red carpet, VIP reception, and electrifying performances. Special guest Ron Summers will be joined by an all-star lineup, including Micah Lee, B. Chase Williams & Shabach, Keenon Coleman, Terris Gamble & The Living Testimony Community Singers, and many more.

Tickets are available now on Eventbrite, priced at $35 for general admission and $50 for VIP. Doors open with a VIP reception at 5:00 PM CST, red carpet from 5:30–6:30 PM, and the awards ceremony beginning at 7:00 PM.
