Rock City covers “Jesus is the Reason” and other holiday classics

In 1996, Gospocentric released their well-known Christmas album by Kirk Franklin & the Family. On that album is Jesus Is The Reason For The Season, a classic that is sang by groups across the country and a mainstay on holiday playlists. Birmingham’s Rock City Church covered the classic during their broadcast, with gospel artist James Fortune leading the performance. They also remade other classics during their Christmas stream.
