Brian McCoy, Editor
McCoy is a graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, with a Masters of Arts degree in Radio/TV/Film from Texas Southern University. He’s experienced working with Fox 26, KHOU’s Great Day Houston, PBS Channel 8, KUHF-FM, TSU-TV and for the United Way. He is also a contributor to Urbanham.com and has experience as a guest on various radio shows and newspapers in Birmingham, Alabama, where he was the youngest “Who’s Who in Black Birmingham” honoree for his civil rights activism.
For years he sang with the New Hope Mass Choir, Arthur Beard & Elements of Worship, UAB Gospel Choir and was a director for the NAACP’s Triumph & Praise Ensemble. He currently works in promotions and is a publicist for various gospel artists. He has also served in leadership at Wheeler Ave. Baptist Church in Houston, TX.

Michael S. Fitts, Photographer
Huntsville, AL native, Michael S. Fitts is the official photographer for MyBirminghamGOSPEL.com. He is currently the Assistant Director for Access & Document Delivery Services and Assistant Professor at University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Lister Hill Library of the Health Sciences. Michael earned a B.S. degree in Management from Miles College and a M.S. degree in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Alabama. In 2007, he was elected as president of the UAB African American Faculty Association and has been honored by the UAB Black Graduate Association as “Faculty Member of the Year “.
Michael serves New Hope Baptist Church, where he is the Chairman of the Music and Cultural Arts Ministry. He is also an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and owns his own photography company, “Photography That Fitts.”

Justin Sneed, Public Relations
Sneed is a graduate from Sam Houston State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications. He has promoted several events during his college tenure such as the annual “Mass Communication Day” and the “Radical Definition Tour” which featured the gospel choirs from Sam Houston State and Prairie View A&M University. Sneed also had the pleasure of interning at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, TX where he helped promote several conferences and concerts as well. He is active in the music ministry at Windsor Village United Methodist Church, under the leadership of Kathy Taylor. He is currently in the process of building his own Public Relations Firm.
