UAB Gospel Choir Summer Concert, July 28

The UAB Gospel Choir’s summer ensemble directed by Kevin P. Turner will perform music from Kurt Carr, Tye Tribbett, Hezekiah Walker, J. Moss, and music from the choir’s Nu-Soul City CD, July 28. A portion of the concert will be dedicated to gospel icons Daryl Coley, Ricky Dillard and the late, great Milton Brunson, founder of the Thompson Community Singer. Tickets are $6 and are on sale now at the Alys Stephens Center Box Office or by phone at 205-975-2787 or 205-943-8001. Tickets also will be available at the door on the day of the concert.
