Birmingham to celebrate radio star with Rickey Smiley Mass Choir, Jan. 2
The city of Birmingham will celebrate its son Rickey Smiley for taking on radio legend Tom Joyner’s spot after his recent retirement as the first black nationally syndicated radio host. Faith Walker’s Church is hosting the event, January 2, 2020 at 7pm. The event will feature a Rickey Smiley Mass Choir formed from Arthur Beard and B.A.S.I.C.
