Want your kid to be a part of a recording? Kevin P. Turner & the UAB Gospel Choir announced this recently:
This is an opportunity for 12-18 year olds to sing with the UAB Gospel Choir in a live recording on Monday, Nov 19-7pm at the Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center (Sopranos, Altos, Tenors). To register send a confirmation email to kturner@uab.edu. The group will be called the UAB Youth Gospel Choir. Learn one song/only three rehearsals!
Must be able to sing, have rhythm, sing and rock at the same time, follow instructions to the letter, well behaved, must want to do this and not because you are forced to, punctual and be able to get the uniform as discussed at the first rehearsal. If not, you will be sent home.
Rehearsal dates: Mon Nov 12 (6-7pm), Thu Nov 15 (6-7:30PM), Sun Nov 18 (7-7:45pm) at the UAB Hulsey Center 950 13th Street, S. Birmingham, AL 35294
Concert/Live Recording is on Monday, Nov 19. Call time 5pm. Concert from 7-9pm. Send email today with your name, contact information, and part that you sing.
