Miles College is located in the steel city of Fairfield, AL, near Birmingham, AL. The college was a major force in the Civil Rights Movement with students participating in the sit-ins during the turbulent period in Birmingham’s history. The College Choir is known for their sound and nurturing of young talent. This recording of Soon I Will Be Done was taken at the National Black College Gospel Festival in 1976.
