Reward for arrest of Jarmaine Walton killer exceeds $13,000

Birmingham area church leaders, radio personalities and others are driving the reward amount up for information leading to the arrest of 15 year old Jarmaine Walton’s killer. Here is the current tally, according to Birmingham News reports:

-Eric Guster – 1,000 – plus radio listener donations

-The Rock Church – 2,500

-Pastor Michael McClure – 2,500

-Crescendo Bar & Lounge – 1,000

-3000 Bar – (Half of Thursday night door profits)

-Matt Murphy Show – 500 – plus radio listener donations

-Crimestoppers – 5,000

This report brings the total to over $13,000 for information leading to the arrest of the killer. Shots rang out in Birmingham’s Railroad Park at 7:20pm on March 17, killing Jarmaine.
