A’Donna B. Williams

A’Donna is the 2nd born to Pearlie Ellis and the Late George “G.G.” Bowen, she grew up in a family of gospel singers and musicians. As a little girl A’Donna began singing at her home church in Alabama at the age of 7,as she grew older she knew God had given her a special gift to use in the kingdom, and it would take the anointing to reach the body of  Christ.

A’Donna has participated in many showcases throughout Alabama and abroad, listed below are a few of her accomplishments; 1995- Apollo 1st Place winner – Television appearance on Amateur Night at the Apollo Theatre; 2005- 1st place winner at “I Hear Music in The Air” conference hosted by Dr. Bobby Jones and Tracey Artist; Gospel Centric; 2008- Released her first Freshmen solo project entitled “Worthy”; 2009- Received 3 nominations for the 1st round ballot of The Gospel Stellar Award; 2010- Participated in the recording of the Haiti Relief Song “Are You Listening” with Kirk Franklin and other Artists; 2010 – Female Vocalist of the Year; Alabama People’s Choice Award; 2010 – Alabama Regional Winner for Dorinda Clark-Cole Singers & Muscians Conference in Birmingham, AL; 2010 – Best Female Artist for Dorinda Clark-Cole National SMC – Detroit, MI.

A’Donna has shared the stage with many National Gospel Recording Artists and the list includes; The Canton Spirituals, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Kurt Carr, Tamela Mann, Luther Barnes, Ben Tankard, The Clark Sisters, Tembo, KiKi
